HAMPTON - A 19-year-old man was arrested and appeared in court yesterday in connection with a weekend stabbing incident.

The alleged incident occurred June 28 in the early evening at the Tim Hortons parking lot on Main Street in Hampton.

A 20-year old man was treated for minor injuries and released from the Saint John Regional Hospital.

A Hampton RCMP spokesperson said the men involved were not from Hampton but were from the local area.

The accused appeared in Saint John Provincial Court Monday afternoon. No further information was available at press time Monday morning.
